Yesh, finally! It was such a bad idea to vector a screenshot again, but huh, I
managed to finish the vector of Lacus around ... 2 weeks? -lol- Yeah, I know I
took too long to vector it, but you know, I work really s-l-o-w. 
Okay I decided to write as simple as possible here.
- vectored Lacus with coloured outlines.
- changed the colour of some parts, I used other Lacus scans as reference.
- median filtered, smudged and repainted the landscape stock.
- painted and smudged the clouds, mists, and lake.
- vectored, painted and smudged the butterfly stocks [ I used 2, one for the
wings, another for the body ].
- adjusted with colour balance.

updated this wall. Changed the font, gave a lil bit painty look on the vector [
thoguh it's not that neat ], and outlined the background.

Softened and smudged the eyes parts, retouched the painted look on the vector.

Simply beautiful. I love how soft it is as it really matches Lacus' sweet personality. Wonderful job. I am happy to have this on my desktop.

It is splendid Lacus.
I must admit that the backgorund is a wonderful scenery for Lacus. This is the best vector I've seen from you so far. I just tihnk Lacus should be a little darker because it's wuite hard to see. For sure you're improving. ^_^ I can see the difference.
I really thought the concept was good here and since you painted and
smudged the background, that makes it even more worth full viewing it. 
I actually had to darken my screen to see Lacus ( or there was a problem with my eyes to begin with
). Man, it does seems like you put a lot of work into this
wallpaper. 
The vector looks great and every element in your wallpaper
works well with each other. Lacus does stand out well, but I wish the butterfly
would have done the same. The butterfly may not stand out, but the carefully
colored and highlights details look very impressive. You did a really nice job
and you are very talented. Keep it up.

btw you were wondering if you could submit this as a p-o-r contest entry, well I'd have to say no. You can always submit it but I'd have to give you really low marks on respect of theme o_o

nice one..! the vector was lovely.
ooh neat! nice vectoring job, and I like the soft pastel colours as well as the angles. The background is well-painted, though I think you might've over-used the smudge brush, esp since your foreground is vectored with outlines and therefore sharper, the painting itself doesn't have to be so soft. I also like the touch with the butterfly btw. maybe soften her eyes (ie the irises) a bit as well?
