quickie! mostly this was a way to distract me from the overwhelmingly long nouveau wall I'm doing right now.
I really wanted to wall Rain for some time now, and was looking at those nice scans and yeah. I had plenty of ideas for
this in mind but in the end I went for the simplest thing ever. Cleaned, painted bg, and petals, and textured.

Love the background and colors. The extraction around the head area seems a bit strange against the bg, though.

Ooh, pastel colours again. neat. I like the watercolour effect of the background (did you use special brushes or effects for that?) But like Chloe-chan mentioned, the outline around the head area looks a bit weird (maybe too dark).
funny, I was looking at this scan a few days ago, thinking to propose it for the request gallery at PoR :D

I think is a truly good piece, one of those that truly good artist do and that are like a bonus....cuz they are not that great but still are attracting.
like people already said the strong black outline is disturbing, but only because is around her, if maybe there were some lines that strong on her hair, on her face (lips maybe) and in her hand, it wouldn't damage the image that badly to make it look like a poor resolution scan (even if it is a painted effect) -
