Another Range Murata wall! I cleaned up the scan and added some glow to her. I PAINTED the blue cherry blossom like flowers in which took the longest. I gave the flowers a little bit of a shadow to make them stand out a little more. I was going for a soft blended look to everything. I didn't want too much behind the flowers so kept it simple with some diagonal stripes to match the girl and the flowers. I like how her orange-red eye contrasts with the other elements of the pick and grabs attention.
with extraction, painting the flowers, effects and bg took hours and approx 50-75 layers (i kept mergin the flower layers down so not sure how many there were)
Hope this is better than my last couple walls.

oooh ahhh. such a lovely image. the flowers don't look very.... flower like. it's just the petals. i dont know if you were trying to go for something with the straight edges of the petals but i think having the rounded petals would be better. also some random petals just floating around.
