Yay, A Zodiac wall! I have huge love for zodiac-oriented stuffs so this wall is made out of love. ^_^'
Anyway, this is made aligned with UA's 13th Fortnightly Theme: Zodiac. Scan by DREAM featuring Aquarius by Rain. No not that hot and famous Korean singer. >.<
I LOVEx100 this scan. Just look at the guy, dipping his own face into the water yet looking so soft and gentle. I love Libra as well but I can't explain what's that thing behind the guy.
It took me a few days to actually put everything together. Yeah I know this wall looks very empty and simple, but
it's really hard to place them at the right place. :hmpf:
Not to mention it's very hard to deal with the scan itself. There was a few attempt for the scan, and finally I
settled by using vectored outline and to colour them myself with brush and smudge tool. (yay smudge tool)
Sakura flowers, goldfish, tree branch and scan vectored and colour-smudged. Hehe. Besides the scan and the water, everything else was taken from Stock Xchange.
Oh, and not forgetting the rules....

Ah now this is what you don't see in a thumbnail. Definitely all the details come out in full view. I love the delicate outlines of the flowers, and the textures look very fitting with it all. Was it intentional to cut off his hair? Lovely :D

Geez... sorry Sofie but I'm lazy to full-view it but seeing your wall on its thumbnail view, I must say that it's pretty nice. It may be a simple wall, but you made details meaningful.

I think there's an inconsistency on Aquarius dipping his face on the water. I know there's the straight line you made for the land part but I guess you should've made some more details for it. But nevertheless... it's really CooL!

I like this wallpaper very much Ephie. Everybody should fullview it... the thumb doesn't really show your wallpaper, especially the coloring. In my point of view the flower is somehow too much, maybe it's the color, i don't know... but I think it wasn't really needed. I love how the fish looks in your wallpaper. It's so cute... I fell in love with it! *lol* I enjoy the technique and the smudging works nicely. Whenever I do it... it ends up in a real mess. I think I tend to go overboard with it... *lol* I like how you made changes to the original scan and how you gave it your own Ephie style. :) You are creating a lot more wallpapers now than you used to, or am I wrong? ^^ Well I can't get enough of them so I hope more are about to follow! :)

Lovely concept ^^ simple, and very effective. I almost wish the branch + flowers and fish had slightly thicker outlines to match those in the boy... still definitely nicely done! :)

oh i like that libra scan too >_< is that a woman behind him? the arms look confusing...
to me everything looks great here , but the outline of the guy.
It doesn't seem to match .... hehe
flyin' is saying to have thicker outlines for the flowers+branch and the fish ... i'll say the opposite XD

Really good job on making the scan a bit more 'peaceful' (it looked a bit 'darker' from what i saw in the thumb), and the wall composition is really great. I like the fishy a lot, your colors are awesome and very relaxing.
There's a strange feeling of 'going to the other side', somehow getting free from your own body or something...Thumbs up and fav for the obaa-san ;)
PS i hope your art-block will be cured soon

Wooo~ Someone's obsessed with Jay Chou XD I just finished watching the Curse of the Golden Flower btw, he sings the theme song right? Its quite nice! ;)
Back to the point ^_^' I'm really loving this wall, such soft colours, and it looks really peaceful too~! Most impressed by the water and the lil gold fishie~! XD
