Actually I have thought from first glance that it's Saiyuki wallpaper and was really surprised to see it in
"Other" section ^^* I think that L-ish eye is a bit off though >_>
Really nice work, I like it! Not the kind of thing to use at my desktop, but good stuff to look at. =)

Tam da da ta ta ta ta taaaam~ Brand new wallp ^_^
I finished it quite some time ago, but I had no net till now [altough even now I'm not home... >_> ] to
submit it. I really didn't know where to submit it... it was first meant to be a Saiyuki wallp, but then somebody
told me that the guy looks like L from Death Note... well, at least I know for sure that it doesn't look like the
guy from Saiyuki at all XD ~ and then I decided to make it a Death Note wallp, but I just couldn't >_< . I
have really clear in my mind how would it look with L's face on it but I can't do that change on the
wallpaper... yea indeed, we always have this super-buper-mega great idea in our heads but it never, I mean, it never gets to materialise itself... *sigh*. And I was quite afraid of submitting it, it
doesn't look so apealing or cute like other wallps... [not especially mine but heck :P ] and I know that my
previous wallp got itself in the elite gallery and altough I bet some ppl will just think that heck, what a stupid girl,
it's not really that big of a deal, but for me it is, and I just didn't want to make something worse than my
previous works... :). The making of the wallp took about 4-5 days, but that was with several pauses caused by major
problems such as laziness and stuff ^_^ and it was Christmas and my B~day too ^o^ so I couldn't just spend my time
only in PS ^^.
Time: 4-5 days
Layers: about 45 [but after that I merged them and in the end I had about only 3
or 4]
Idea: Colour me bloody black ~ I
could've written red but look at the wall, it's all black-ish and stuff, and I think that black blood looks
more violent and honestly, it does produce a bigger effect on my mind ~ it looks more morbid.
Inspiration: a remix of a Prodigy song... can't really remember the title, I
think it's something related with pain, well, the song isn't that great, but it sounds quite well at max
volume, it energises me [kinda... ^_^'].
Music I listened to: (yes, that also is one of the important things that help me
make wallps) ~ Megaherz - 5 Marz, Miyavi - Pop is dead, Ritsuko Okazaki - Furuba OP [don't really know the title...
^_^'] and a greaaat song, my fav ~ Lostprophets - Sway which has excellent lyrics... and I will end my description
with my fav lyrics from it (that aren't really in connection with the overall idea of the wallp but still were of
great importance for the process of creating it):
As the light pours in
Feel the volume of the sky
Mark your place in time with another question â?why?â?
Oh oh and... comments and... umm... favs... would really be appreciated~desu ;)

Ooh, stylish vectoring :) I read your description but I moved this to Saiyuki xD;; I can sort of see the L resemblance but from the thumb I was thinking "Saiyuki," even without having watched or read that anime/manga XD
The only thing that strikes me as a bit odd is the text. The splash of red and positioning there is ok, but the mix of fonts just looks sort of strange. The composition being what it is, I think you can try playing around with cut-off or even overlapping texts a little more. Otherwise you did a nice job on this, definitely makes for a striking wall :)

Simply amazing X_x I like how the black, red and greys blend together so well, and the cigarette is a really nice touch. Adding to my favorites... it's one of the best vector wallpapers I've seen yet. Congratulations~! XD
