overall, very cool. things get a bit out-of-proportion as we progress down her body/the page (her head/shoulders/breasts area being too large for the frame) but the shading is done quite well, and the hands/feet look great. the pose is cool too :o

This is my first crayon picture. I made it for this site specially. I can't say it was too easy for me, because I hadn't practice for a very long time. It took me entire 7 days to complete this drawing. The character from the picture has a real prototype from my past. I called her "Fly" (this ia a translation of the prototype's last name). Your opinion is very important to me.

Yeah the shading and all looks great, but I do agree with shining about the proportions looking off. The realism of her clothes really contrast with the more flat, anime-ish look of her face as well. But overall, nice effort for a first submission ;) Keep it up! :D

Wow! Amazing shading on her clothes, esp those pants! :) I love the photo-realism in them :) And lovely details on the hands and feet as well, though her face could use more of that kind of detail and shading... and like others said, her head is a bit too big for her body...
I'd love to see more from ya! :)

Crayon!? Awesome job for your first submission Melanin! I would agree with shining and flyin about the proportions though. However, you did a lovely job on the colors/shading of her clothes. They look so real! I really hope that you will share more of your work with us in the future! I'll look forward to it! :)

I think the body is slightly thin but with crayon i dun think its removable without leaving bad marks
The jeans i especially love
and to do hands and feet as well as that is juz unbelievable
good work -

Love the jeans and the hands. I must say though, it looks like she's in the process of morphing between anime and real life bodies.
