last submission for the year ~ and back to school again soon ~ ... :|
please don't pay attention to the proportion D: I tried drawing on a full A4 paper . and screwed up various things .. like , the arm looks very weird xD; , her body looks kinda squashed , lol . I love drawing hair . but I hate cging hair .
mechanical pencil 0.5 , eraser and tissue paper xD . PSCS2 for adjustments and bg colour . about 2 half hours I think .

so i see that so many other people have allready said this, but.... WOW... this is amazing.. i look at this and say i can't believe someone drew this. Everything about it is wonderful... the look in the girls eyes, the pearls that are coming loose, and the flower petals flying around her. Not only that, but the addition of the bracelet and how the girl is holding her hand, i love it all. I am definetly favoring this.. i am so jealous of your talent... thank you for sharing this! ( the arm doesn't look wierd, i didn't even notice anything until i read what you said, and i still think its okay)

Oh well... i guess i have to drop a word just to say it's beautiful... and actually a lot more relaxing than some of your others -just as beautiful nontheless- works, just because of the use of pencil without any 'flashy' colors... It allows to focus on the expression of the face, which is quite wonderful.

I hadn't come online for a while, and you've made such a brilliant piece! Was this a spur of the moment work? Becasuse it'd be great of she had a story to tell.. the more I look into her eyes, the more I feel emotion induced.

very nice drawing! just that the head is a lil too big for the body..don't you think? i like the hair, looks very smooth and silky(sounds like hair shampoo advertisment ^^;) i like to draw hair..especially long hair..many thx for sharin it! XD

simply wowies ~ your drawing is so detailed and elegant ! pencil work is really clean and soft ~ makes the drawing really nice to look at. hehe, i see you have found the advantage of using tissue paper to smooth the shading ~ maybe you remember that i used tissue on the two drawings i made with charcoal pencils ? in some parts the lining looks very bluish, gives nicely freshness for the gray colour of the lining ^_^ girl you drew is like she would be character from some fantasy games ~ and don't worry, her body proportion is just fine ! it may look at first that the head is bit too big compared to body but when you look at the pose it looks natural since her body is bending back and not front with the head and breast. really like the hair of her and the angel wing ears, gives her such a innocent look. the details of the dress with the hair ornament are wonderful ~ pattern of the kimono is really neat and girly, fits for the girl really nicely. also the pearls on the hair ornament gives nice touch and it's really great effect that it is broken and the pearls can drop. love the shadings since they are so smooth and they bring the shapes of her body but also the wrinkles of the dress really well to be seen. flying flower petals gives magical atmosphere which emphasize the fantasy like aura around the character really well. background colour goes well with the lining since it's quite close to the colours but they still can be seen well. also the colour makes the drawing look like it would be made on really old paper. overall amazing work ! you should make more drawings like this one :3

I love all the detail you've put into the drawing! From the strip/seam on her shirt to the loose string of beads to the wispy hair behind translucent cape [would that be what it's called?], the time and thought that went into it really shows. I agree that the proportions seem a little off...like her right arm [the viewer's left] seems shorter than her other arm. As for her body, her bending forward lessens the 'off-ness' to make it un-noticeable. All in all, I <3 it! ^-^ Where'd you learn to draw like that?

The details are fantastic! wow! there is so much movement in the scene..the beads gleaming as the string breaks, causing them to go flying...the feathers and flower in her hair swooping to the wind...her cloak crinkles and folds as she sweeps her arm...her bracelet jiggles around her wrist....petals spin and fall...and all through her hair flows, wind blowing through tendrils...You are good; you just made me exercise my descriptive skills again. :) I love love the way you can NOT put pupils in the eyes yet still express personality - I can't. And sakura seems significant here..it's a pattern on the clothes and she wears a sakura pendant. Her body movement suggests that she had been surprised by something yet so graceful, especially her hand. And there's nothing wrong wih her proportions! She's bending in the wind like a willow, so naturally and gracefully, her waist might seem a little shorter than usual. Fave Fave!
I can practically feel the breeze, hear the whisper and gush of it and the tinkle of chimes, beads and the bracelet and such a beautiful scene it is!
