I decided for my version of this vector I would change the medal she had in her hand to something else and that ended up being the cd she is now holding.
This took me some time to do, about 48 hours or more roughly and about 26 layers all together with various sublayers here and there.

Fluke has done an awesome job on this vector. Because of the number of different
colours used in the kimono patterns, it's a slightly harder vector to do in
perfection. Nevertheless, fluke has maintained the colourful style that was
present in the original scan and made the vector super clean as well. Keep up
the great work

might be better to brighten up Haruhi's eye colors. looks a bit desaturated imo.
still i really like it.

ntoice the way you make the eyes look very close to the original scan. You are
very accurate and your vector looks flawless. The CD idea was cute and I am sure
it would have been a pain to vector the metal.

wow, neat vector, great details (esp on the patterns of her clothing

can see why it took you so long. and the CD cover idea is nice too.
though the background I'm not too fond of... the green's a bit too vivid and saturated, so that it's competing for attention with the vector itself. Maybe a lighter colour would make the bright colours of the vector itself stand out more
