Wow, it's a great scan ! I haven't had the pleasure to read the books, I only saw the film but it looks like wonderful :-)
All time favorite Nausicaa pic. READ THIS series! Miyasaki's greatest work. The JRR Tolkien of manga. I think that suits him better then the 'Walt Diseny of Japan' (a phrase I think was marketed by Buena Vista since Diseny Corp distributes his dubbed works)
