This is my new douijin and it will probably be the last one for a very very long
time.
I should have finished this ages ago, dear studio-chan ask me to draw something
of any of the greatest fashion designers and at first I just didn't know what to
do. Since I'm used to adapt the clothes to the feeling of the picture and the
characterisitcs of my characters and not the other way round. Finally, one day I
saw a gorgeous dress by YSL and I knew that was THE one. So yes, this time I
used a reference, so I want to make it clear that I did NOT design the gorgeous
dress the girl is wearing on this drawing, it was a creation by YSL. I didn't
use any references for the girl or background as usual. The bad scanning is due
to my crappy scanner, it doesn't show all the shades and shadows, but I can't do
anything about it (or I don't know how ^^' )
I hope you like it, specially you, studio-chan, sorry it took me so long ^^' I hope you enjoy it and any comment and fav is always very welcome.

Wow! The detail is awesome and the shading is really well done!
Nooo, why would this be a last submission in a long time?
But still, excellent job!
This is one beautiful piece of work. Your shading really brought this drawing to life. The scenery looks lovely and you have great taste in dresses. The YSL desgined dress looks absolutely beautiful and matches very well with the entire drawing. You did an excellent job pegassuss.
THE COMPOSITION AND THE CHARACTER GO TOGETHER REALLY WELL. ITS A FULLY FINISHED ILLUSTRATION. NICE!
ooo very nice ^^
havent see peg-chan's drawings for awhile...
like the flower pattern on the dress. ^^
it matches very well with the overall scenery...
great job!
i like this one, as your other drawings as well
haven't seen your works recently, so now i'm glad ^.^
beutiful as always..sad to hear you wont be doing enyfor awhile thou..well just makes it all the more treasureable eh ^_-
So pretty! You used such a beautiful dress to reference! I love it! The shading is great as always! Lovely work!
hey, really nice one! I love the shadows, the girl looks really cute too congrats
Loaded with details.
Simply beautiful. I love all the shades, they're very nicely done and all at the
correct places. I really envy people who can draw plants, gah!
Hm, I'm not really that fond of brand, so I dunno YSL
But
yes, I do have to agree that dress is pretty. ^^
You're not going to submit something in a long while again? Well then, I guess you must be pretty busy in life eh. But anyways, this is a really good drawing.
<3 I LOVE YOU PEGS!
This one's really wonderful - the shading and all are just what I pictured when I thought of your version of a YSL dress. Did you come across a really plush lilac one from last year's autumn runs? That one was my favourite out of the range. I don't recognise this one, oops. But it's gorgeous, hell YOURE GORGEOUS, thanks for trying it out.
& I have to say the background is tops; great detail. I owe you one.
wooow!
really!
woooow!
Beutiful! I like her dress!
Eheh, she's like Cinderella rushing home after the ball ^_^, with the moon in the background and all !
). Maybe the girl's head a bit too 'triangular', but otherwise the drawing is
awesome
Anyway, i really like the mood of this garden / forest path, with all the secrecy. Great job for the dress (yeah it's not you, but just 'copying' it must have been pretty hard, then creating a character for it and a setting... wow
Thumbs up, and sorry for the oh-so-late comment.
Hope you're doing fine and the illness's gone, work hard, and good luck *gives good luck cookies to you and sis*
And here it is, twelve weeks, six days after you submitted it, and I'm leaving a comment... wow, that's even worse than normal!
I like your choice in backgrounds here; because the dress has the flowers on it, I think it was a good idea to use shrubbery rather than flowers. It could've... detracted from the dress, almost. But the girl (and dress) looks so natural on a garden path... good job with the pathway itself, and the shadow beneath her was an awesome touch. And of course, I adore that you made it a night sky, with the moon, clouds, and light shading ^.^
As I think you know by now, I'm a fan of hair in motion; it just adds a realistic feel to the drawing, so I love the way her hair kind of floats around her. The dress itself may not have been your design, but you did a really good job getting it down on paper. Sometimes I see things, but they don't turn out the way I want them to (more in reference to photography, since I can't draw worth beans, lol). All the little folds, wrinkles, and ruffles must've been a pain to draw... *shudders* I would so not have the patience for that.
So what I'm pretty much getting at is that you did another great job with this one, girl. I'll be watching for your next one, whenever it comes; I know things can get hectic and time for stuff like this seems to disappear. Later... *waves*
I extremely hope the title isn't a sign of things to come... or things to NOT come. ^^'
I really like the background. nice leaves and the faint tiles on the ground. Well, the character of couse, is excellent as usual... nice pose and great dress (though I know absolutely NOTHING about fasion) the wrinkles on the dress btw is perfect. Farewell (for now). ^_^
