Once again, just as well as "The Daemon's Eye", Submitted 2 days ago, this too was in my sketch book unfinished for a good 2 months. Or so. Last night after gawking at it for a good hour. I decided to just finish it...
Spent 12 am to 6 am finishing it up. And now for the specifics..
Hmm. The dress was more simple of style then what it is now. I tried a heart shaped locket on her, but it didnt seem to fit. So I mixed it up a bit and did a choker with the locket attatched. I couldnt decide on whether or not to add lace or ribbons to the edges at the bottom of her dress, so on a whim, I started lacing the side of her dress. Thus the idea of the two darker sections came to thought. Tried it and it ended up looking really good. I really like the print/design I did for those sections, its simple but still nice. I later decided to add the ribbons in her hair with bows that match the straps of her dress. They added alot to it. And as for her face. I didnt know what style to do her eyes in. Subconscious ended cup coming through for me, and my first try ended up being what I wanted, in a twisted way. Overall I love this drawing, its just so pretty.
Now there's just one more drawing I have to finish lol. But thats not until after christmas.
