wow everything is really nicely made :D the theme is portrayed well and i like the concept of your wall :) the scenery outside looks nice and the colours are well chosen XD the wreath looks a bit random but it could just be the way im looking at it [hope i didnt offend you ^_^'] everything is nicely done and composed well XD nice wall ^^

I'm FINALLY finished. I've been working on this wallpaper for at least a week @_@. I think I can say this is the most complicated wallpaper I've ever done.

Time spent: Probably around 14-15 hours
I have decided to submit the version without the Christmas tree, even though I spent a lot of time today trying to get it to look how I wanted. It looks more filled up with it there and that's why I wanted it, but I also like how much more simple the wall looked with it gone. To make it I used a picture of the Christmas tree we have in our house and covered it with a green layer of clouds and added texture and my own lights and star. I did a similar thing with the wreath above the fireplace. I erased out the bow though. ^_^ (version with the tree is below)
The fireplace took up the most amount of layers. About 25-30 of them are the fireplace alone. Everything is 100% hand made, except for the actual fire, which is a brush. XD
The rug is a stock I found on the internet.
The lovely scan came from 
, I'm sure most Tusbasa fans have seen
it. ^_^ I fell in love with it right away and knew I had to wall it. I hope I have done it justice.
I handmade the window and curtains. The stuff "outside" the window is mostly brushes. XD I suck at curtains so I hope they don't look too funny. >.<
I also had a hard time with placement of the text, but I like where I put it and I hope it isn't distracting.

oh sweet a christmas wall. the background looks really nice! the fireplace looks good and I like the floor and how you did that rug there. And outside of the window looks so pretty. Well Done!

Well haven't commented on a wall in awhile, so here goes. I definately like the theme you've got going here. Very fitting for the holiday season. I really like that fact that you took the time to make the background instead of just using brushes to create it. Makes the wall seem simpler but in a good way. I really do like the snowflakes outside the windows even if they are only brushes. Only problem with this wall I see is that more detail on the wreath would have made it even more realistic looking. Otherwise it's a really nice wallpaper.
Although I liked the version with the christmas tree more.

I personally think the version with the Christmas tree was totally fine but well, both are good anyway ^__^
Good extraction of Sakura from the original scan and awesome work of construction and creation of the background, especially the fireplace which is pretty impressive!
Overall befitting color and brushes use, even though I don't like much the green, don't know why though ^^;; Maybe another green less 'vivid' would have been better? But that's just my taste :P -
