oh yeah, something is going on, people is going mad about painting and there's no point in "no trying"
so is quite weird for me to work with photos, I find hard to get to a human look with shape and figure working in digital canvas and stuff, transform things, styles with a real look like trying to draw a 3d computer image by hand...but actually this turned out pretty cool uh? didn't know how to paint that well so I gave myself I hard work doing it several times until this came out

this is the photo
Photo, girl playing the guitar

gotta admit I will like a guitar like that one, but at least have in mind that the music even if it is not mine is still the art of life, an irrevelant style shows a unique type of music a unique type of music that shows a unintended way of life, because if there's no music then there's no life, no style.

I'm just going to leave here a texture-less version, for you to see the whole painting stuff" like is supposed to

and that people.. is all

    Another first-time painter!
How did you find it? Would you do it again?

Interesting choice to go with a photo base, did you paint it from scratch with the photo as a reference or just work the photo to create a painted look?

It's pretty good so far but I think there are still plenty of room for details and more work refining the spicks and specks to really get the UPMPH! - you know what I mean. Could definitely do with more details on the hair, maybe her face and jeans as well. Her skin and the guitar is pretty well done but you can always try different things and see what happens.

Yeah I'm a firm believer that as small as they may seem, these little details really make a difference once put together. Now you know why I'm such a drawing tablet nazi.

Still, congrats for your first painting, massive effort!
Keep it up, and try to join the paint-o-rama contest if you can, looking forward for more entries :)

    Is it your first? O_O
I cant paint... T_T Ill end up spitting blood... *sulks in a corner*
Anyway, It looks pretty in thumb form but when its full-view, I agree with Sharingan Knight up there... >_< it would have looked nice if it was all basically blur... >_<
the guitar is abit more obvious then the rest of the wall... >_<
But Its still pretty ^_^ Its very realistic & I like the style in this piece of artwork XD
