I agree, this scan has been done to death in red, I definitely like the change in tone you did to it. I normally skip right over walls with this scan anymore, but this one caught my eye. Excellent job.

Almost all is done for some reason with walls to this anime in red tones, it has a little bothered me, and I have made a
wall a little bit in other tones. :)

your love of the baby blue with the intense black and rain is effective like those cards you see in Hallmark stores where the picture is in B&W with the flowers only in red... only instead of warm-fuzzies I get totally creeped out.

This is one of a kind Work ! Unique and superiorly touching. It's the eyes and rain effect that got the most out of me. Why she isnt wet ? It just rained. XD Nevermind that.It reminded me of my Film Shots in Black and white I took sometime ago. Antique yet Valuable and Ancient.
Simply irresistable you know. Shades, Tress, Grunge and add that Rain with the Bluish Effects. I dare say it is a perfect harmonous use in effects and blends. You deserve more than a pat on the back. It look like a moment slow in time with a picture. Nice display of Sorrow Essence with the brush and all. Good grief, i am lost for words just like you do ! It's just so Powerful !
Senior and experienced MTers than me may point out improvements i missed out but i'll only grade you one:
