Har har har XD

This is a long-planned, long waited promotional wall for na-kun's awesome new wallpaper forum Instant Noodles! It's a great place to be... no favorites, no rankings to worry about, just friends and comments. Definitely check it out!

This is actually another at-work doodle wall. It's not a spectacular wall, but I really liked the result. And I mean... who doesn't like sootballs? XD I also wanted to dedicate this wall to Shinn for a one month late birthday present! It's not really what I had in mind, but given our last conversation about walling trends and some of our artistic goals, it seemed fitting :3 Loves for j00 m'dear :D

Textures from akinna-stock and Aimelle-Stock; leaf vector-painted from this stock photo; sootballs referenced this googled image. Photoshop CS2 + Mouse ^^

Lastly, loves to na-kun, crap, and tat0rs for reassuring me that the wall was done ^^

As always, additional res at pixel ellipsis! :D

  2. eternallegend Nov 29, 2006

the textures add a nice touch and i like the nice colour scheme :D the vector is nicely done and i like the idea for your wall XD the concept is portrayed nicely and the title suits really well :) i like the cute sootballs and how they are scattered on one side of the wall and the lone one with the leaf drifting away XD nice wall ^^

jaja those are a really hilarious germs, bacteria whatever, sootball just sounds badd >_< I like the bg, is not a so plain one because of the textures and so it looks pretty good, the only thing is perhaps the font I still dont know if it actually fit or what or guess is maybe cuz I really dont like that font at all....but well dont mind, jaja those things look like lost in the world, if they have one

  4. inuyashalove04 Nov 30, 2006

Ah...I love these little guys! The bg work is nice. The color is soft, and doesn't take away from the sootballs. It's a very cute wallpaper...I like the lone sootball off by itself. Just too cute. Nice work.

  5. fawna-chan Nov 30, 2006

Yup, I saw this in AP and I was wondering whether or not you'd be submitting it here. :) Anyway, awesome vectoring and the background's nice and simple and adds to the glowing atmosphere. :) Just so cute! XD

That's a really cute wall. Just by looking at it it makes you go :). Look at those two big eyes, cute! ^^

The one with the leaf really makes the whole thing looks unique. The title definitely goes well with the presentation.

    Hello flyin,
I'm a bit late - as usual - but I didn't really find time during the last weeks to check on Minitokyo so I'm still going through my notifications. ^^ I love this wallpaper. It's one of the cutes wallpapers or maybe even the cutest wallpaper that I have seen. I loved these "sootballs" in the movie already and now finally I have such a beautiful wallpaper with them. It's my desktop now and it brings me in a good mood just looking at it. And the theme "dare to be different" is so cool. :) Well what more can I say? I fell in love with it... *lol*
