First post! Yay! And even before candy! >_<
I love it. It's got the "Tama-trademark" textures and beautifully painted trees~
The sunset is lovely. You've used lovely colour combinations. It looks great <3

Issa
This is my entry to Paint-o-Rama's Feudal Japan
contest.
I found the scan to be
interesting in composition - the simplicity in the trees framing a round bridge with a geisha made a not-so-typical
scenic setting, plus the orange-y autumn colors were quite refreshing. This wallpaper was basically extended in
Illustrator, repainted (twice - once for watercolor and once for blending) in Painter, and then post-production was
completed in Photoshop. You can see the details in my step-wise tutorial.
I found the haiku with Google - originally I was looking for one by Basho, but I found an excellent resource for Issa
haiku that was even sorted by seasons - perfect for finding a fitting fall poem for the setting.

Very very cool. The colors are awesome and I dunno why, but I love the sun. It's awesome.
Great job on making the scan wider. The text seems to stand out a bit much, but other than that, nicely done! -

that photo is just wrong >_<
the colors are very attracting, indeed, the whole painting idea is really calling my attention even if I'm still trying to figure how can I improve...
anyway the extension and the quality work (that actually beats the scan in all terms) is pretty remarkable...ne I'll go now to cry... -

Lovely - the colours set a very sentimental mood while looking at the wallpaper. Oh, and I think this is the first time I've seen a bridge used like this in a wallpaper :) .

I adore the colors you used and how they add depth to the layered tree lines. The landscape beneath the bridge is an interesting effect...love the hazy/misty appearance. Also love the placement of the haiku, it looks great. Another beautiful wallpaper.
