Hello, minna-san! *waves* i finally finished this one... not that I truly finished, but more like I'm fairly content with this "final" version. So here it is!
This wallie will participate in the first round of the Free your inner waller Contest, currently being held by the groups Celestial-Luminesse and Free--Wallers. The theme for this first round is Isolation, and truly, I couldn't think of anything more fitting for that than getting lost in a forest. But of course, I bet we're gonna see a whole lot of different concepts in this contest. Gambatte, minna!
I'd like to thank the Forsaken team for all the comments, criticism, and overall support. A special mention to eternallegend for her detailed reviews of the beta versions. Thanks a lot, eternal-san. I bet you'll be killing this one too! XD Go ahead!
About the wallie... well, it took me almost the entire month to finish it. Even though it might seem that way, I didn't use any brush (nope, the leaves and the trees are not brushes) except for the far background clouds. Most of the time went to deciding if I wanted more or less leaves XD *always indecisive* and the final tone and coloring.
Anyways, feel free to comment as much as you want. I'm always grateful for that! Good luck, Forsaken! Good luck everyone!

thanks :) hehe, i will and shall lol XD the leaves look a lot better now and they are spread out better :D yay you removed the outer glow on the trees and her XD [not that it was bad with the outer glow ^_^'] trees are still a bit jagged here and there ^_^' it good to see you tried to combine both tree types however the fact there are two different types of tree colours on one side and one on the other unbalances your wall so maybe it would have been better if you had say for example some light ones in the front then some darker ones in the back for both sides instead of how you did the trees [not that they look bad or anything XD] some of the tree branches dont look like they are connected to the main tree trunk and some seem to be placed in an awkward position but it could just be the way im looking at it [hope i didnt offend you ^_^'] the clouds in the background look nice and i like how you blended her within the background :D the leaves are nicely done however it seems a bit strange that you have some that are completely black but it could just be me ^_^' overall everything is composed nicely and you made nice trees and leaves :) nice wall ^^

wow.. I read the eternal-san comment and I can say, she concesns much in the details ^^ but I think this is really good work. first: this chara and background fit together with colors. This idea with lost in the forrest is awesome.. how many people feel scary in forrest, not knowing where should they go.. the leaves are good too, those dark leaves on the right sight can I associate with some dark spirits... with something what we hear and fear for it. When we are fritend we can hear every sound like an enemy against us. Threes are our enemy too in the forrest, they silent watch our panic and don't want to help us... hmm.. maybe my imagination is to far going.. but anyway -- good work! Keep working and be always patient please. ^^ -

iarly, this looks AWESOME! :D The trees look much better now that they meld smoothly with the background, yet you cans till see all of the detail on them. Also, I like the fact one side of trees looks brighter than the others, as it really matches the quote in the contest. And you're right, nothing feels more isolated (atleast to me ^_^') than being alone in a forest. You did a great job on this. ^_^ Good luck to you and the rest of our team!

Anyways, this one is better than the blue one...
I like the colors here, it gives it a more tense feel...
Full-viewing is much much more better, since it looks kinda blur from here...
though it might look a lil unbalanced since the tress both side are really huge in contrast. I suggest U put some of the darker trees in the front into a lighter shading or maybe just a few streaks of light in front of them...
streaks of light would be better since the lighter tress are blocking the light.^^
Then the sky... I suggest U made the darker side darker too or maybe the lighter side lighter, for more contrast^^
But its quite good already^^
U improved alot^^
Then, U might wanna blur up some of those leaves in the front, U know it's suppose to look blurer in the front... ^^
and less might be nicer... (just my opinion)
Its a great job done though^^
