after a lot of procrastination, here is.
It was intended to only be a very quick cleaning job because I really liked the art style of the scan, but I ended up
changing everything. Switching the hues and levels was really exciting lol, but in the end I'm not even fond of the
result.
hued, filtered, smudged, stroked. The city scene is made out of several stocks.
time: couple of hours

funny fact: this is my first "urban scenic" and I'm leaving for new york city tomorow, hummm

This wallpaper by candy-chan definitely deserves a highlight. Benjamin is a pretty hard artist to work with (in my
opinion, extracting painty things = death x_x) but candy has done so well in duplicating Benjamin's painting style
to near perfection.
The choice of the setting and the whole movement of this wallpaper captures chaos and a dynamic atmosphere. The lighting
and colour choice is just delightful.
Must full view, and an excellent desktop choice~ you can't afford to miss out on this one >D!

I was hoping someone would do something with that scan, it really is awesome.
The sky looks great, but the hair is my favorite. The building on the left is a bit weird, though. Other than that, nicely done! -

I was so planning on walling this, but I didn't want to ruin it because the original scan was so paint-y like. I'm amazed that the background goes so well with the weird angle the scan has. Great great work though, I love this one ;D

At first i didn't like it, that was 4 hours ago, but I wasn't able to take this image out of my head...Candy's wallie popped out in my mind over and over again >_<

I enjoy the way you have changed the hues and added some subjective colors to the scene. The composition is excellent of course, and I think the perspective has been done very well.
I particularly enjoy the painted quality and texture that you have continued from the portrait to the background. Well done, and this one's going in the favs :D.
