Pathetic ? Hell no ! .....ok. You wanted to hear it ? Yes. However, if we don't fall once in a while, how can we ever know our strengths we have had in us all the time and learn from our weakness to better ourselves, right ? To tell you the truth, most ppl are like this. No, it is not pathetic. Just easily distracted.

Your Shadow needs alot of work. As does your Blending. It's very glaring. Add some texture. Your color composition is low. It's very plain. That's why i cannot see much of your brushes you claim to have used. Just a bit more. Sorry if i sound harsh but i rather you learn then wrong yourself further on.

Overall, i think you need a rework. Serious. Period. Don't be discouraged. At least I comment to help out. Well, i don't know if its a blessing or misfortune for you, i just can't help it to see a suppose beautiful work of an artist AND friend going downhill.

very pretty background. i kinda want to know where the light source came from - the reason why the shadow can be seen. snow is fluffy... but maybe too soft that he almost sunk on it. ^^

NOPE! you are not pathetic at all.. although you didn't create the shadows too well but i can see that alot of efforts were done for this wallie.. Maybe removing that haro will look better.. Maybe adding some black feathers will match well since daisuke is "Dark".. Nice stock piccie found.. hmm.. Maybe you can add some mist btw the cut of snow and mountain that will make it looks more natural.. The little effects and feathers on the bg blends well with the scan..
