Artist Comment

the pun: memorials are something that remind people of an event or person of the past, but it seems that people have completely forgotten about this one. it's one of the mysteries the characters have to solve in Eternal Oblivion.

if you were to comment, i suggest taking the full view. it sucks as the thumbnail.

"Forgotten Memorial" is a work of art using coloured pencil in an inspiring way by successfully capturing the softness, hardness and also textures of the natural environment. Full view is essential- you'd feel at ease just looking at this. Wonderful work :D

Simply gorgeous. I have to say the colours are soothing and every little details are there. It's a lovely artwork with full pencil textures. It's not quite abstract, but Abstract Art is pretty much the Misc section in our gallery. Anyway, lovely work.

Such an awesome work on light. One would almost want to touch it, because it seems soft and smooth. Really conforting work. Same comments as usual (shading, coloring etc....)

    Thumbs up ;)

Very beautiful. I'm curious what paper you used to do this on (I'm guessing cartridge paper), but you have manipulated the pencil medium very well to capture the textures and feeling. <3
