I decided to make one of my pen & ink drawings into a wallpaper. The drawing can be accessed via the linkie below:

This wallie took me a few tries. At one point, the petals were burning orange but I thought it was overdone. Then it became very neutral and monochromatic. I played around with the colour balance function on multiple layers to get the colouration effects seen in this final version. Thank goodness for layers! And thank you to Truly Sarah for providing the brushes used.
As for the character herself, someone mentioned that she looks like Belldandy, and then someone also mentioned that her pose is similar to the movie cover of Underworld. I just thought I would mention that I didn't have those two imageries in mind when I created this piece and I hope this is orginial enough to avoid copyright lawsuits.

There is one thing I noticed: if the lady's hair (and the dragons) are blurred by the sun sphere her leg should be as well. Right now it's not affected by the the heat haze. I also like the texture that you've got throughout the wall, but the lady & dragons aren't affected by it, but the ground/rock she's standing on is. I'd like to see it one way or the other - just for consistency.

I really like the concept and placement of the images. Awesome drawing, and I'm almost saddened that the dragons are so blurred (but alas, for consistency they must remain so
this is reall amazing. i would love to wall some of my own work but my scanner SUCKS. its beautiful!
Thanks for the input. I thought The dragons could look like they are being born/formed from the clouds...but I guess that didn't come across. As for the textural differences, I want to maintain the original pen & ink effects while not contradicting the lens flare and petals. I'll go back and work on this some more.
