Every once in a while you see something of which strikes you so heavily that you out of a need or compulsion to do so, attempt to capture that moment, feeling, or expression. In my case, I first had my first encounter with Gunslinger Girls a few years ago. At the time I had no interest in Anime, and definitely not in one based around young females with guns. That was then, but this is now, after passing my highschool graduate equivalency stuff I found myself with a lot of free time. Out of interest I downloaded Gunslinger Girls, hoping for something slightly different from what I have been watching over the summer and early this fall, mainly being shows such as School Rumble, Sunabouzu, and 2x2 Shinobuden. The first episode of Gunslinger Girl caught my interest, here was a anime that was not the norm I had grown use too, rather a fresh breath of air. By the fourth episode I was entirely hooked on it, and even though I currently am still finishing the episodes I had a compulsion to make a wallpaper based on this anime. In the wallpaper I wanted to create a environment that built on everything I have learned from making wallpapers, but not just that, but a wallpaper that broke new ground for me. But I also wanted to be able to hopefully capture the image, feeling, or whatever it may be that compelled me to make a wallpaper for this series. So with that I present to you my newest wallpaper, "Judge the Blood".
