I made this wallpaper from the cover of one of the many HarukaxMichiru doujinshi by Yamada Mario (Studio Canopus). This one was called Tou no Naka no Himegimi (The Princess Within the Tower). I love Yamada's artwork, it's always so beautiful and this shot of Michiru is no exception. ^^ Michiru is one of my favorite anime characters ever, and whenever I think of her the word "elegance" comes to mind, so that's what I decided to name this wall.
I wanted to create a soft, gentle feel, so I had to semi-extract and clean the image, but the original was very pretty anyway. ^^ Also had to extend the left side of the image a little so it meshed into the new background better as well.

This is a lovely image of Michiru! She is one of my favorite Sailor Moon characters too. I've never seen this image of her before! Thanks for sharing!

Congratulations! ^^ You've reached the aim! Soft, gentle feel, fresh sensations - you got it) I do approve of the way you composed the background. That's the point - blank and simple look. So nothing distracts viewer from Michiru. It seems you are with her in the pure lambent room, full of light and cool air. And... ah!
