Artist Comment

I made this wallpaper from the cover of one of the many HarukaxMichiru doujinshi by Yamada Mario (Studio Canopus). This one was called Tou no Naka no Himegimi (The Princess Within the Tower). I love Yamada's artwork, it's always so beautiful and this shot of Michiru is no exception. ^^ Michiru is one of my favorite anime characters ever, and whenever I think of her the word "elegance" comes to mind, so that's what I decided to name this wall.

I wanted to create a soft, gentle feel, so I had to semi-extract and clean the image, but the original was very pretty anyway. ^^ Also had to extend the left side of the image a little so it meshed into the new background better as well.
