Another classic collection from my shelf. It was inspired from the opening scene of Jigoku Shoujo where the woodblock-printed pictures of hell was shown (As you can see, the style here looks a mixture with ukiyo-e woodblock image).
Attention is given much on the quality of line, of which shows the thickness & thiness of lines, depending on how thick or thin the object may be, as well as the 'flowing' texture. I spent at least 4 hours perfecting it. The shades as seen here are not contrasting shadows but the contrasting colour of the kimono this warrior wore.
His face is of that ukiyo-e style, a typical Samurai. Styles in his attire are inspired from some of the characters of Inuyasha. I can't remember where the flower patterns were obtained from. Nevertheless, there was surposed to be sunshine ray shining across his feet, but I'm of course stuck with that idea.
Anyway, comments are welcome :) . I really need to improve this.
