This is a scan I did clear back in 2003. 
I was
rummaging around in my files and rediscovered it, and thought it'd be good to
share. 
As it clearly shows on the pic it's from the November (2003) issue of
Electronic Gaming Monthly and the work is by Yoshitaka Amano, though I can't
remember if he was commissioned to do this specifically for the mag or not. They
were featuring all things Final Fantasy that were coincidentally (or not) coming
out at about the same time for different systems - hence the FF X-2, FF XI, and
Crystal Chronicles listing on the cover.
Scanned by me - the file as a whole was really large and I had to scale the size of my scan down in order to submit it.
If anybody decides to make a wallpaper out of
this please PM me. I'd love to see it!
