Oh, what emo kid could resist this wall.
I read Tama's design blog entry on smudge painting and have wanted to try it out for a while. This is the product. It's nowhere near Tama's stuff, naturally, but i'm pleased with the result. I kind of hate her arm and nose, though.
Bebop is an interesting series in that, 7 years after its initial releas in 1999, whereas many an anime have been "walled to death" in that amount of time, i never seem to feel that exhaustion when i look at a bebop wall.
I have a laptop now, so i think my primary resolution will be 16:10 from now on
Thanks to metal and julie for final checks

um which CB lady is that?
certainly doesn't look like Faye..
right about the series though; its a classic, shall never get old.
Really cool smudging! The colors and the bg fit perfectly. Excellent job!
er....
umm........
nice blend effect you did there,
but that charector looks scary,
and it's seems a very dark wall
Er... What the hell is wrote on the left side of the face ?
There is some letters who appears but I can't read it... Is it me or what ?
Anyways, good working.
mn I just saw this wall and needed to comment.
is strange/weird/unusual to see this kind of walls of cowboy bebop and guess I dont know what's worst to be impressed to actually see one or just be ok with the other ones that you normally find around here lol well, the expression is pretty damn stunning, love how her face looks like (not how pretty it looks....it quite doesn't fit in the pretty stuff for me...I mean...well you know what I mean)
the background, even if at first sight looks kind of empty, still gives a good feeling, a feeling that perfectly goes with the character, so is just fine like that. the only thing I have to refute is..the text you put on "an every time..." it doesn't fit at all and looks like a bad smudge detail.
the rest is just a great piece of work.
CB wouldn't be bebop without the music of yoko kanno ( Whose face this is.) Great understanding of the music as an integral character of the show!
NO IDea who this is. (never watched CB either. =O)
But the emotion is so strong! I love it.
