This is my entry for a European manga contest with the theme "first date". I wanted to participate in this contest but did not like that theme much, so I combined it with another more exciting topic; that is robots.
This is my first time designing humanoid machines and with the robots being in the background it does not matter that their design is a bit odd. I also drew the characters more detailed than I usually do.

Awesome work on lighting, the overall picture being quite dark it really sets the mood. Very well designed as usual, love the focus on this. The colouring is impressive and shows a lot of hard work, and I really like the detail in the background. Great work on this, best of luck to you for the contest !

Nice concept, hehe, can't figure if in the future people will go with their mechas to a drive in instead of their cars... can you Imagine? Drive Ins would have to be HUGE, and the screen?!?! hehehe... ok, off the dumb Le side...
Nice doujin.... actually I liked more the details then the whole composition... the cockpit, the guys over the other robots, that's what made the composition so nice... and they don't divert the attention to the main couple...
I liked the colors you used, and I can see you liked that pastel/green soft light scheme, right? I guess I've seen it in lot's of you drawings ... or I am getting crazy...
Anyway, a good one! Congrats, and I hope you did/do well in the contest!
