I admit - I was a little bit out of inspiration when I picked the title ^_^' Still, I'm quite happy with the look of this wallpaper. At first, I was a bit uncertain about using this scan, since extracting the wings seemed to be a major pain in the neck [and it was]. But since Setsuna usually looks awesome against a grungy background, I said what the heck, I'll try it. And I'm glad I did.
Apart from the babble above, the only other relevant pieces of information are that the background in itself has ~15 layers and is a combination of fractals [rendered after some of my own equations in Apophysis 2.0], brushes and a stock image I used to create the color overlay effect, and that I spent about four hours working on this thing.
And life is good XD

hmm...it looks a bit over-filtered. the character matches nicely with the bg colorwise, but for some reason, those fractal effects dont seem to go to well with him. no no, thats not what i meant to say...hm....theres just something bothering me about the bg. it might be because theres black spaces in some of the corners, and it makes everything look oddly centered. But yes, youre right that the grunge looks nice with the character.
