fantastic job on the wallpaper :) its so pretty :D you've certainly done a great job on the soft colours used and the painting effect!~ but candy-san is quite right... i guess x_x on the shoreline part, it doesn't fit >.< some parts of the scan also looks sharp.... and the flowers on the bottom... some parts don't fit but yet it is still nice o.o so i can just say that you've done quite a job. so yes, this wallpaper both have its good and bads. i hope i don't sound so bad >_<

so tired ... lol ... i spent all day at this wallpaper, and my foot magically can walk again ;D ok, so... info on this wallie... haha.
well i found the scan here at Minitokyo. Then, i extracted it, which was a pin, then i added some missing parts. And umm ... i got some butterfyl and bird scans, added them to the girl. Then.. .ummm... i painted in the flowers and the shoreline and the water XD ... ha... tired.
i give credits to the wonderful texture ---- > DA!
And the cloud brushes were found in Deviantart =]

Great ideia and concept for an wallie. Bg looks nice and scan is cute too.
Ijust think you should habe worked much on scan extration cos it looks odd on some parts...

Can't help but to agree with most people that your wallpaper is well... fantastic :D I love the scan and and and and everything around it >.< The title is kinda sad but yet beautiful? Or maybe it's just me that got like emo things -_- (No offense o.o ?)

really interesting point of view for the scan, the way you have cut it is quite original idea and it works really well with the composition. effects you made for the scan are really pretty, especially like the way you darkened parts of the twine and highlighted other parts. but i think the highlighted coloured parts should be on the other side onely, because then it would make more sense where the light comes to them. the way the scan is darker gives good contrast for the light background and also gives depth, but you should blend it bit so it would fit better. seashore is very beautiful, it looks so peaceful. the way you made the waves and used different tones on it makes it quite natural looking, yet the little hazyness makes it look like painting. clouds on the sky softens the background more but also balances the darkness of the twines in the scan. tiny flowers and butterflies are neat details and gives well brightening touch for the quite bluish colouring. overall good job and thank you for sharing !

I love your idea and the scan is beautiful. Erm...however, I do have to agree with candy-chan about the scan not fitting very well with the bg. When you first look at the wall, it looks really good, but then you kind of realize that the bg is more solid than having that transparent feel that the scan has (sorry, I hope im not restating what candy-chan said). I also noticed that theres a couple stray pixels here and there around the scan, and I think its because you blurred it. Ahh but I hope im not sounding all negative, becuase i really do love this wall
