Not really much to say about this. spent about a week vectoring the manga image from a scan i saw on AP, and essentially just tinted and added a simply screentone pattern on top. i just really liked the image as it immediately reminded me of tsukamoto's film "vital".

As a premed, I have actually taken people apart layer by layer so I really dig the anatomy. Very nice concept and beautifully done.

Another great vector of course. I think the screen pattern works well, providing a texture that helps to create the feel in this piece.
The sharp lines bring the focus directly into that point of intesection, and the lines of her face help to break up the geometry to soften the piece. In a way I find this piece to posses a lot of tension. You have a number of different contrasts here: geometric vs. organic, natural vs. synthetic, human vs. machine. A classic theme really.

Very cool. I like the "printed comic book" effect the texture adds, and love the color scheme...it's deep colors hint at the technological, but the softer nature of the hues used tempers that. The overall visual of the wallpaper is simply stunning.
