Mwahahahha! Owwwhh yeaah. Finally Trompe Les Mondes won in the final epic battle. This spells GLORIOUS. *cackles*

Anyways, this time round's theme was "Freestyle". Honestly, I'm afraid of making freestyle walls, considering that we're free to do anything we like. I tend to mess things up if I'm not constricted XD, but anyways, I've decided what to do when I finally caught a glimpse at this scan. Lookie here.

From left to right:
Takemoto Yuuta, Hanamoto Hagumi, Yamada Ayumi, Morita Shinobu, Mayama Takumi and Leader, the dog. >.<

It's a very pretty scan. I believe it's a manga scan of the last chapter of Honey and Clover. I've always admire pretty soft style like Umino Chika's. Plus watching Honey and Clover seriously had inspired me to make a group wall of these 5 people. But the problem is that the scan itself doesn't look quite neat. I mean, even if I did successfully manage to extract them out, I can't possibly think of a matching background. So then I thought of vectoring.

This time, the vector was different. No definite outline along the characters, and I have to admit I enjoyed vectoring the whole thing. The wall itself took probably about 3 weeks to be completed, with Muz's constant error pin-pointing along the way, I'd say this is probably my most favourite work of all. ^^ No special methods were used except pentool. FULLY VECTORED, YEA~ Oh, and not to mention huge thanks to Misa for helping in translating the particular Japanese sentence printed in black in the scan. It means "Finally the time has come in the seasons when I'll part with you." The other translation was "Finally the time to part with the rotating season comes." But I prefer the first one. :)

<3 this, kyaaa~ Oh, I'm so obssesed~ OX

Anyways, here's a textless version.

    Hello Ephie,
I love the soft colors in this wallpaper. The vector looks really good too. I love the outline that has many gaps, it works well especially for the characters. The balloon I would have maybe vectored with a different kind of outline... the gaps and different widths of the outline make them look a bit jerky... and the body of the dog looks a bit huge... Other than that... I really enjoy how soft it looks! The vectors look perfectly clean. ^^

I love the vector and I love the soft pastel colors. Everything fits. :)

Ahaha I never knew that my translation would be used in SUCH A BIG compie D: But I'm so glad that I could help out you guys >D Muahaha~

I love the pastel colours. It almost looks like a very light handed painting and you get an extra cookie for using greyish outlines- because they are the bomb XD!

Beautifully made and not a typical vector.

Hmm... I thought you're just gonna make a solo wall of Takumi but I see you made a group wall (oh yeah I forgot, you just told me you're gonna do it later this week, hehehe!).

Damn, that's why Takumi's image is kind of sumthin', it's already been vectored. XD didn't realized that til now. Anyways... one heck of a wall Sofie, definitely one of your best walls so far. One question though... what's with the balloons? ^_^' nah, definitely a fave for me!

definately a nicely executed vector. I wish the outlines on the group would be a little darker though. But I get your idea of having it very pale, and the pastel thing works.
