haha you always find the cutest scans ever! youre improving pretty fast, and i think you only have a bit more to go before you get a most improved award! ^-^ There are just a couple problems i see
-the entire bg is really nice. clouds are nice, moon is nice. However, I think the color of the bg is too celestial looking compared to the witch. you need a darker blue for the bg....black would work too.
-the seagulls flying teh air seem a bit wierd. Bats might have worked better. Even if you werent trying to make this wall for halloween, i dont think those birds would really fit.
-The text color is kind of random? Im trying to find that blue somewhere in the scan, but i cant seem to find it, unless you got it from her hat, that brooch on her shoulder, or somewhere else..I mean, I do see blue. But not that..erm..bright solid blue, you know what i mean? What i would suggest is to open the layer effect window (by clicking twice on the layer in the layer window, but if youre editing the text, make sure you dont click on the text part, but on the little space on the side of the layer select. its the one that lets you put outer glow, inner glow, bevel and emboss...etc) and activate the fill effect. change the settings to gradient (i think when you first click on it, its solid or something) and pick the purple and the blue, and make it the gradient of those 2 colors. I think the text might fit in better. You might also want to fade it a little (like lower the opacity) because it seems a bit solid as it is nowbut what a lovely bg! I really do like that moon ^-^ and the purple petals are very pretty

gee, looks like the text ruined it all.. it doesn't fit the composition.
the bg is nice and fluffy, however, they don't blend with the scan. it's just like, pasted on it, that's that. make the scan immerse in the scan somehow, like adding clouds in front of her, then blur or smudge it to look like she's really whooshing past them. and the birds need more work. there's some that's fine cuz they're blurred, so blur them altogether. be consistent. starr's right - bats might have been better.
but it's nice to see you starting on a landscape/sky scenery. hope to see more stuff like this from you. ^^
