The scan was vectored and colored by the Aquastar group. The background i used was from digitalvision and manipulated by filter, brushes and texture and lighting. I also applied some rennaisance painted look. :) Asuna kinda intrigue me cause of her mysterious past and being there with the Thosand Master's group when she was young. Whats the connection between Asuna and Negi's father.. -_- Well i guess i have to keep on reading the manga to find out... X-P

Most of the art and such from the first series was crap so seeing such a great wallpaper is a surprise, it also has a completly different feel than other walls and avoids the typical 'happy/magical' aspect of negima. Top marks for originality! 'cause it's great to see the more serious side revealed.

The roughed texture is effective in pushing the grungy feel of the wall and looks great, save for the sky in the top left which seems a little overdone, perhaps just more obvious in that area. Besides that I only compliment the elements lying around as they all collectively create the myterious atmosphere, the shadows used across asuna especially.

This wall feels very unique in the negima field and I fav it for bringing out the serious side, good work!

The painting look looks really good and the dark background is like what littlejohnny100 said...I'm glad that this negima wallie isn't one of those bright, "oh yay!" wallies too.
