looks great, there is only one problem with the water... it does not look like water, maybe a motion blur would do. ?

Oh very nice layout and vision I can say. Some advice huh, umm well you said it was all made by you. There are tutorials on the net that you can read and learn how to make bgs such as trees, water, ground and etc on your own also. In this MT Thread full of links to go to -->Photoshop Tutorial Sites, or this site has good ones where you can search for the tutorial you want good-tutorials. The Tree is my favorite part I think, your choice of colors and shading is very nice. You did a great job thinking of reflecting the images in the water. The ground is a bit blurry, and the grass looks a bit off, on that link from MT should have links to sites that have brushes you can download as well. Maybe you could try to darken the grass up some, and make it look more blended with teh ground like blurr the bottom of the grass a tad. I would also recommend some shadows in your clouds, they are very nicely shaped I might say to. Your extracting of the scan could use some work as well, I would zoom in very high and then follow the lines very slowing and erasing it with the eraser tool on a very small round soft brush, or using the poly lasso tool to extract it. :D Hope I wasn't to harsh.

Its a very nice wallie, Im so jealous you were able to do the bg all by yourself, you did a nice job of it to. :)

Thanks a lot...

I'll start working on your advices...
