Ok people here we go. This is a resubmission of a wallpaper I did earlier. The main reason for this being that i was pretty unhappy with the wallpaper and decided to make some major changes to it all together.
Now on to the good part. this wallpaper is the outcome of about 4 weeks worth of work strait and totals somewhere near 42 layers, if yout hink thats a small number it may come from the fact that almost everything besides the scan wall done by hand so it really didnt take that many layers.
I realize that this scan has been used by just about every other Valkyrie Profile wallpaper on this site, but I think i pulled it off in an entirely different manner then the others so in my opinion its completely original.
the insiration from this wallpaper comes from the game itself of course. I was trying to depict the scene when Lenneth first comes down to earth looking for souls to fight in ragnarok. If you've no idea what im talking about i suggest you play the game, it's opne of my favorites.
Inspiration for the title comes from the Nightwish song of the same name. Whos lyrics pretty much sum up the theme of this wall perfectly and seemed to fit rather well. Some may ask why there is no title on the wallpaper itself. the reason for this is pretty simple. I was trying to make a realistic wallpaper, and who can tell me where in real life they have ever seen a bunch of text just floating above the world...

I'd like to thank Square-Enix for this wonderfull game, though it was just Enix when this game was released but oh well. Aaah, but when have you ever seen a person just floating above the world? Sorry, ignoring my sarcasm, I love that you made her look like she's floating above the world (brings back memories, and you're right it is original ^_^) The cloudy feel you gave it manages to keep Lenneth looking divine, but it also shows how dismal her job can be at the same time... It looks fantastic ^_^

I have the original for PS1 still in the case and another to play i even have the new one for psp and slaying the dreamer is a Nightwish song by the way good one too
