ALRIGHT! new wallpaper from me at last :p
I rewatched GunslingerGirl recently and it moved me so much more than the first
time that i had to wall it :3 more than that a lot has happened in my life while
making it (including gf dumping :/) so this wall is really sentimental for
me.
As for technical data, just know that i did all the music scores myself (texturing and all), as well as the notebook (easter egg picture :p) and i also did all the shadowing by hand cuz i'm teh french badass. I had some hard time cleaning the scan and extracting it as well (hair locks were hell). For pain in the ass folks, be aware that YEAH all the music scores are for violin, or piano&violin, my sense of detail wont be beaten by that. For Beethoven sonates, they're originally for piano, but these are the scores adapted for violin. BLEH
For info, the picture in the notebook is an actual wall i might post if i manage to do something decent with it.

That's really cool what you did with the music. What program did you use to export the sheet music as images?
Wow, I love the concept ^_^ After hearing about the bad experiences that some friends had with Gunslinger Girl, I stayed off it, but looking at your wall and comment really does make me want to watch it ^_^ The scan looks really nice, a little grainy on the outlines perhaps, but they're hard to notice. The music sheets look great, and the contrast between the gun and instruments is really... interesting. Lol, I'm wonder if there is actually a connection between them in the anime, or you just connected them in the spur of the moment. I hope you do something about the "Easter Egg" wall though: it looks really nice ^_^ Thanks for sharing ^_^
