"-Be careful, gentlemen.
The birds dancing in my sky are vicious only to the dead-"

Here's a wallpaper from my upcoming Dead Apostle series. This is the 16th Dead Apostle, Gransurg Blackmore.

The inspiration for this wall came from reading up on Gransurg's reality marble, Nevermore. Described by Fuyuki Wiki as "A canopy of death wings covering the sky; a "world of death" of absolute darkness swalloing even the moon and stars."

Using this spell he was able to kill the 16th Ancestor (as well as his entire family/clan) and claim his castle.

I was going to add more birds, however it made the wallpaper far too busy, so I added the black fog to help give the feel of the moon and starts being engulfed in darkness.

You said the inspiration came up from reading the description of his marble phantasm... Does that mean you drew the shillouette yourself instead of taking a scan from somewhere? If yes, then you're superb...

Well, overall this wall is nice... It'll look really good on my desktop becasue i like dark walls :D
And you know, it'll be much cooler if you can cover the sky by just the birds... That'll give a better image of his marble phantasm... The fog is a good idea too, but i think you need more fog there... The moon is still too bright... Well, as long as it looks good it's okay though.
Awesome job on this wallie... Please make even better ones in the future, and thanks for sharing ^^

I didn't draw the silhouette, no, it actually came from his art in the Character Material that I cut out. The overall concept of the wall was inspired by his Reality Marble though. I tried working with more birds but then it wound up looking a bit too splotchy. I figured I'd give it that "moon's in the process of fading out" look, so thats why it's still pretty bright and such. Thanks for the comment, though!

(Also, a Marble Phantasm is something only Arcueid and Altrouge have. It's like a grade above a Reality Marble. Reality Marbles create an enviornment against the Earth's will in favor of it's caster, and the whole time the world itself tries to break down that area. Marble Phantasms actually alter the world itself.)

Gorgeous. I really like that you're using the manga images in your wallpapers. It gives them a completely different dimension because of how most manga is colored. Watercolor most of the time.
