I am a Kurogane and Tomoyo fan, I think they are cute together :D The scan is adorable so I decided to vector it.

Kurogane isn't really hard to do but Tomoyo is kinda complicated, especially her hairs and ribbon. I didnt do the arrows that surrounding them.

though the purple borders don't really go with the whole look, I must say this is a fine vector :D
I can tell this requires a lot of patience lol *features at fw* ;) -
that bg isn't really a bg and you know it XD but i get what you mean by not having a bg suitable for this vector.however, the vectoring you did is impressive.really impressive.the attention paid to the detail and all that colour...i see a scan like that and i wont even be able to bring myself to start vectoring it.how long did you take to do all that.oh my god.tomoyo's hair and dangly stuff are like...blinding to vector.this might not be a great wallpaper but as a vector scan alone, it is excellent.
okay one thing, kurogane's hands.they look a little...fat.chubby.soft.not like him at all.maybe you could fix that up, even if it isn't in the scan, by making the lines sharper instead of curvy?and the iris of his left eye is a little too small compared to his right eye cos its nearer to the viewer and is supposed to be bigger.no other complains (: tomoyo sure looks fine =DDD

very clean and smooth vector! Im not suprised aqi-chan chose it for the feature~ (and plus, aqi knows more about vectoring than i do ^-^) didnt the original scan have a book binding line going down the middle too? if it did (im a little too lazy to check, but im almost sure it did), then you did a great job covering that up as well. those lines are so hard edit out.
