I absolutely hate that saying of his (probably cause he says it too much) BUT it fits perfectly for your wallpaper! :) Wow after reading your description I went back and looked at it upclose again and what a magnificent job you did with the shading I love the desaturation at the bottom of his feet and how Sasuke and Sakura blend into the background. Very cool job on changing his smile out too...you can't tell at all that it isn't the orignal look on him now. Haven't seen a REALLY good Naruto wall like this in sometime! Great job!

This is a quick wall...one of the most attractive looking quick walls I've done. It took about a day because I was busy doing a clients buisness card. Anyway what you see here is my lighting technique with shadowing of Naruto's eyes. The original scan of Naruto had a smile on his face but I changed it to serious for this wall. As for the back of naruto it shows from the bottom (where the color is saturated) is to show that when he was young he had no one...no one really liked him and he worked on his own. As it progresses it shows hes gone a long way from the bottom to the top. I really enjoyed doing this actually :) adding Sakura and Sasuke to the background with a small bit of saturated colors to give that look that I was aiming for. Other than that I added other things like the abstract behind him again shows how much he has flourished and also the colors intensity where "Strong" is located. I hope you enjoy this wall. The WTC wall is almost finished...its one big wall I can tell you that and you wont be dissapointed :).

humm humm..very nice concept there. I like how you have the bottom part saturated and the top part colored...good idea. But for some reason...er..I dont know how to explain it, but it seems that the wall is too simple, and its missing something. It just doesnt seem...alive? i know that sounds wierd, but the wall seems like its lacking movement. noo..movement isnt the right word...oh well, im sure it will come to me some random day. hehe. but like fluke said, you did a great job on editing his mouth.

I really like the effect you have created. I love how Sakura and Sasuke emerge from the background and how the colour travels up Naruto (can you tell I don't make these?). Excellent work. Added to my favs :)

I really like what you did with Naruto's eyes.. shows what can be done by manipulating shadows. You actually succeeded in giving a 2d image a 3d effect!
I noticed a slight extraction error though.. Sakura's longer back hair were not intended to be part of her forefront image in the original scan. (since Sakura has shoulder-length hair)
I really love the spread-out colours though! They give the wall a balanced feeling and I don't feel tired looking at it at all, which is the problem I sometimes have with monochrome walls. I don't follow Naruto but I'm sure I would have had a stronger surge of emotions from this if I had!
