Full view looks pretty sucky, but as a desktop it looks damn awesome! ;)
First time grass & it's the best I've done so far but it still sucks. >_<
The water has heaps of layers so it's not just a straight stock, 6 in fact. & yeah...she's supposed to be floting on
the water...cuz that's what angel do. XD
Well...Hmmmm...I dunno what else to say, I like it but it still looks cheap, ah well. >_<

i love the wings. ^^ are these part of the scan or did you make them? if you made them, I'm really amazed cuz I can't do those things, lol.
ho humm.. details.. humm.. but the ripple.. doesn't match the place she's sitting.. or was it supposed to be another object that caused the ripple there.. whatever it was it's huge to make ripples like that. ^^ but i like water texture.. and the scan.. very very kawaii.. she really is an angel of the river... >.<

the scan you used is reeally cute. I love that artwork. hehe i was going to use it for a wall too, but i didnt know what kind of bg to put her on..but you did a good job! I have one question though - is the girl supposed to be floating over the water, or sitting in the water? If she is sitting in the water, i suggest you put a little waterline over a teeny bit of her kimono at the bottom, because right now it looks like shes floating over it. her hair also looks a bit like its floating because its not in the water. right now it looks like her hair is on the flat surface of the wall (like its stuck to an invisible wall) rather than trailing in the water. try submerging bits of it into the water by adding darker blues over it so it looks 2dimensional rather than flat. for the grass in the bg, you might want to take out some of the grass, because it looks bit messy with the grass facing all directions. if you are going to have grass like that (grass that is facing both directions) you need to have it standing up more rather than so bent over because grass usually looks like that when there is a breeze blowing, and i dont think its possible for a breeze to be blowing in both directions at the same time. i really cant describe what it is, but there seems to be something odd with the perception and depth of this wall...it looks more flat than 2D. But i think the character fits in very nicely with the atmosphere..she does look better in a night-time, mysterious scene rather than a day-time one.
