My first scenic wallpaper. I found the
scan here in minitokyo >> Cute Redhead by lunaregina
<<. This scan really inspires me to create a wallpaper for it. A heartful
thanks here 
. Anyway, the extraction and cleaning really consumed me a lot of
time, took me for about 7 to 8 hours 
(sorry about that I'm not that pro). As
for the background, I really focused on it, imagined how will I fit the
character. The sky would not be possible without the help of this site >>

, and the rainbow, this one really gave me a hard time. I just only used the
gradient tool with the radial gradient checked 
. It's
a trial and error attempt for me, since it's my first time to make one 
. Then blend it with a Gaussian Blur. I also added some sparkling-like water
(again thanks for the Deviant Art brushes) and a 'wing-like' to the character.
The light you can see above her head is only made by filter effects, depicting a
strong light source. There's also a thread-like or 'waves' in that wallpaper;
lowered the visiblity and added some blur to it for some effects. Soshite, the
bubbles...it's really part of my plan to put it there. I manually created them,
as in one by one
(What a patience I have!) So you musn't be surprised if I said this wallpaper have 148 layers
(wow, kinda didn't expected that ).
For 3 whole days, I really enjoyed making this wallpaper. To sum it up, I'm pretty satisfied with the result. But I know this shouldn't end in there, because there's a lot of room for improvements! Your comments, suggestions, favs(?) will be much appreciated ^^! Arigatou.

think when you made this walllpaper.. you pictured her walking over the beam...
lol to tell you the truth i got the impression that the beam is rather high 
... to
me you should have added a little something at the bottom of the wallpaper to
keep some sense to it 
...maybe
adding grass or woodwork...
But as to the wallpaper artistically i find it great for your first scenic attempt
the light source fix quite nicely and the clouds loos great

I
must say the lights and effects are the strongest and most tedious part there
and it makes a deep impact..., the bubbles too ? Really impressive. Photogenic
if i may say.

the clouds are simply irresistable to behold. 
Improvements... hrmm... leaving that to the vets. around.
