Anime: Zero no Tsukaima

Description:

I am a huge fan of Shakugan no Shana and when I heard Zero no Tsukaima was out (weeks ago) I had to watch it. Same voice actress! Louise is also very beautiful and short tempered hehe. I had much fun to work on this wallpaper project. I started it a week or so. But I experienced a designer block so the wallpaper was stuffed away and other things piled up and I forgot about this wallpaper project.

But recently we had a sig of the week contest at my own website and the theme was games so I made this signature of Ilya (fate stay/night) in form of a game loading screen. This gave me some fresh idea's and there you go I went browsing my unfinished wallpaper projects and there she was... Louise!

I used the sakura technique I used on my Signature of the week contest as well seeing as I just loved it! It's pretty in my oppinion and its a real add-on to the wallpaper. The scan I got from Minitokyo but I was in a dilemma wheter to extract her or not. In the end I had chosen not to because I had something else in mind hence the nice shape around Louise ^.^

I did some vector brushing combined with very very low grunge brushes for some background filling. Picking out colors was the hardest thing in the end while at first I thought that would be the easiest part ''pink!''

But you have so much colors between pink and purple so it took me a while to find a nice color combination together with the Sakura tree parts. After that I thrown in some nice filters and photo manipulations on the Sakura tree parts and some smoothing filters on Louise.

Text is pretty simple but I kinda really like the font I used. Text should be simplicity in my oppinion so no comment about that from me hehe.
