Hello!
When the 2006 World Cup was still going on, I remembered the various nationalities of GSD characters and I had the idea of drawing these guys into their team's colors. This is the first set of characters I divided into 3 countries (France, Germany, Japan - the teams I cheer for) involving each 2-3 players and their top fan as well.
As Mwu lived in France and Yzak Joule sounds partly French, I didn't hesitate to bring them with FFF uniforms (Mwu wears a 1998 uniform). Athrun as a "Bleu" was a "special" since he looked to me as a silent leader like a famous number 10 was for the last 8 years.
Let's say Cagalli goes blue-white-and-red because of her man. :D She's looking good wrapped into the "tricolore" flag as a fan. ;)

I could have brought Murrue in that drawing as well, but there was no room left and I had no pic of Murrue with other clothing than her uniform or mechanic's clothes. ^_^'
