feels like there are too many shadows.
And if his face is being shaded from the top by his hair his hair shouldn't have shadows that intense on the tips of his hair. Or anywhere on his hair for that matter. Everywhere else on him indicates lighting from above. And the shadows on the hair just kinda makes your brain think whoa! what's going on there?.
His face also has a bit of a glazed look on it. Not much expression there. Hell, even a slight swoop of the eyebrows would be a huge improvement. You really need expression, though. Without it the picture has no personality. He goes from brave adventurer to some doodle on a paper, all on the basis of expression.
So just soften up the shadows on his hair and maybe move them (the shadows) to the underside of his hair next time. You also really need to give him more expression. It's like he's been hypnotized by some sinister mouse with big ears ;)Other than that, though, your picture looks really good. Nice proportioning and forshortening. Good clean shading, and, if I may say so, your cross hatching is worlds better than mine :o

its a really goot pic u drew there....buh i dun fink the light settings realli match up...i fink u should add more expression to his eyes...they look somewhat dull...or "dead"...his hair should also have more shading because it looks lyk ur sayin to us that his face and hair are the same tone of shade....draw less shadings or draw lighter shadings to his face to improve the picture^^
