Long time again, no? Had surgery this summer so that kind of affected things. I am healing well now. I have tried to
respond to a lot of you, but I must say again Thank
You for all the wonderful comments, favs and suggestions with my walls. Also I have tried to see
everyone's work that I have missed. I apologize if I have not.

I come back with this wallpaper that I dedicate to sweet Iscalio over at
Suikox.com. He is not that much of an anime fan. Says that they are drawn weird =D So I try to find a scan that was not
too anime for him. He also owns finches and loves birds. So I thought this scan would be perfect for him.
I tried to find the category for it, but sadly it does not seem to exist there. So please any mods if they could fix it
that would be great. The scan is from Dynasty Warriors and the original creator is Shin Shangokumusou.

ABOUT THE WALL
I love the artwork of Shin Shangokumusou. It took about a month to do this wallpaper, but that is because of the surgery
I underwent and with the recovery. In order to expand the wall, I had to do a lot of stamping and redrawing. With the
stamping, I wanted it not to look like exact replicas, so I focused on varying everything that was stamped. I
painted/drew some areas like the floor and certain parts of the wall.
To add more to the oriental feel, I took pieces from other scans of the original artist to keep consistent with the
texture/pattern of the original. I also took some pieces of furniture from other scans, but had to alter them very much
to match and blend in with the original scan. So that overall the wallpaper has a continuous harmony of texture and
feel. I hope I have achieved this well.

looking at your wallie...i truly feel like i'm being transported to another world! the red theme of your wallie definitely adds richness, depth, and romance to the atmosphere of your wallie, as well as the feeling that your thoughts are drifting away. i think you did a superb job in blending in different images and extending the background of the original scan. i luv your careful eye for details as you added in those fans, lanterns, and matching furniture! your wallie looks like it could be a portrait hanging in a study or living room! no matter what area we focus, your hard work and intense imagination just shines through! and i just luv the fact that you can take an already beautiful scan and transform into a work of art!

Oh... Wow! Its really pretty...
The extraction is nice... and U did the stamping well^^
Everything looks good and it feels like an old scroll...
The texture is nicely laid over too XD
The character blends really well inside, it almost look as if this was the actual scan! XD

WOW you put in alot of work into this one! It matches up with the orig so well style wise. everyone allredy said this, but the ammount of work you put into this one must have been huge! redrawing the wall, adding variations, very darn impressive

Of the best wallpapers I've seen. I love the colours. I never thought that such a tone of red could give this calm feeling :)
The stamping is a bit obvious but that's not wrong at all since it's supposed to be a pattern.
The texture is also very good, it makes it seem like a painting (something that I love in wallpapers).Overall, one of the best wallpapers I've seen ever so far. It screems "hard work"

you hav out done urself again emma..... i don't know... i am pretty sur u will com up with an even better wally than this. u r always soooooo creativ and ur wallies r always awsome. i can never tell witch is better. alll i can say is that all ur wallies ROCK XD they r fantastic, magnificiant, outrageous... oh i can go on 4ever! this is just a too beautiful wally.
but it is my opinion. mayb if u put the left side of the pictur a little mor brighter, it wouldn't mak the wally look too dark, buthey i can never match a master lik u ;)of course this my fav too

A unique Wallpaper, It's Realy a great wall. after a long time ^_^
Must be a lot of stamping and nice redrawing.
I like the red background of the dynasty theme. It look like back to that era. ^_^
It's so peacefully and feels really relax, but it gives some lonely effect. xp
