Artist Comment

Thanks to a scan taken from this site I had an anime picture to work with. Since the picture could go on any background I decided to make it 'pop art' in style. The two colours used are from the clothes they are wearing. I then added stars, hearts and butterflys to break up the stripes, using shadow to enhance them. Then it was a case of adding the pair, drawing outlines in the opposing colour to what they are wearing, cleaing it in places and deciding on a font.
