this wall is good, and i like the colour, it makes Saber looked old-fashioned.
Artist Comment
I did this while listening Lonely Pilgrimage and Spiritual Abyss, two of my favorite songs from the FATE STAY NIGHT SOUNDTRACK. I took the cover of the OST, thats basically Saber and half her sword.
Obviously, it wasnt a good pic for a wallpaper by just using that cover alone, so, I crop Saber from the cover and placed her in the back cover of the OST, the other scan is the sun and the hill...Then, I just redraw all the rest of the sword and wrote in the blade some cuneiform writing, using an special font. I was not sure of the original script in the sword so, I just wrote "Excalibur" with that font...Then, I removed all the lettering of the cover, like the title, blah, blah, etc....Then, I added a little sun flare to give a blend effect of all the scans and finally added the sparks and the title of the wall "SABER"
Hope you like it. Took me about 4 times listening the two tracks, hmmm, an hour perhaps. If you still have doubts of what I did in this wallpaper, check out the original scan of the Saber OST here

Great wallpaper..but seems a little grainy to me.. her face is a bit pale as well...but I still like it..its going into my wallpaper rotation. Great work!

Striking wallpaper toonleaf (no pun intended). It's got a great character, the entire 'canvas' is interesting to look at, and the washed out feel works great as well. Glad to add this to my desktop collection!
