IN CASE YOU HAVEN'T NOTICED I HAVE 1600x1200 AND 1280x1024 RESOLUTIONS ON MY WEBSITE ZOMGLOLKTHXBYE
I haven't done a non-vector wall in over two months! I've finally caught up with watching Mushishi and felt like this series deserved another wall (or five). Again with the odd perspectives, this time looking up from beneath Ginko's boat as it drifts by. The multitude of fish and mushi were also interesting. Since the manga artwork is very much in watercolor style I basically went to clean up the image (removing text), smudge painted everything to smooth out the scan, and overlaid both the scan again (to counter the common issue of smudge paintings being blurry) as well as some light texture to bring out the watercolor styling. Make it all blue and add a title, and it's a fitting wall to end off summer, I think.

Tama-neko, this is very appealing. ^^ dunno what it is, but the space brought it out the wallpaper evenly. a nice aqua and scenic bg. >.<

Wow, that's awesome. I haven't watched Mushishi myself so don't know much about the art style, but your wall really is beautiful in its own, distorted way. I love the softness from the watercolours and general "blue-ness," and just the whole feeling of mysteriousness and the unknown water world. Thanks for sharing ^_^

this is really beautiful underwater view ~ really love the water colour look of the wall, it really emphasize the watery look. especially like the light waves on the surface and the way everything is different shades of blue under the water. waves and coloured character gives good sense were the surface comes so the character doesn't look like he would also be under water. the blue colour is very peaceful and harmonic, really gives unique atmosphere for the wall. also like the way how effects of the surface goes darker when going further away from the field of view. overall wonderful work !

Very wonderful! Like the painting look and it's quite simple since they're just silhouettes here. :) A nice perspective and underwater too. Texture was perfect once again, not to hard or light. :D
