Originally this picture was going to be simple, just something for me to color as I was in the mood to color robes, to try and add design to fabrics. It turned into something more than that as I got lost in coloring it.

Took me around 5 to 6 hours to complete. Roughly 2 hours to sketch, draw and ink the picture which I do by hand. around 3 to 4 hours to color it completely. I used around 70 layers or more if you are interested in knowing.

I am very happy with how the broom and the fabric came out. I tried to make Genesis' robe to look like silk. I think I accomplished that well. I do wish I had taken a little more time on the floral pattern of his robe. It wasn't until it was too laet when I wanted to go back and fix some things, but I have a habit of merging some layers so it is easier to work with pieces as a whole.

One of my weaknesses would be backgrounds. But if I keep doing them, I will get better. That is all I can say about that. ^_^'

Really cool looking doujin anibunny! I really love the way that you colored the robes! So colorful and the designs are so pretty! The birds are also well done, though they look slightly creepy without any eyes... X-P I also think that at least from the angle you have your character and the lock of hair that we, the viewer should be able to see at least a little bit of his left eye. Either than or a nose of some sort. The background is lovely, but I think that the extreme blurriness doesn't really match up with the character. But as you said, practice makes perfect! I look forward to seeing more work from you in the future! :D
