My first attempt at making a wall from scans of paintings. It is rather hard to extract the girl with her hair, so I ended up cloning the background of the scan to complete a large part of the background. Next I used a texture and some brushes, and several copies of the edited scan and overlay them in different belnd modes. This is followed by painting the light, using using a vertical brush and overlay it with a gradient. I then erased parts that covered the girl and added litte glitters of lights around the girl. The final touch is the text, font used is Minion. The scan is from Aethereality.net

ooh pretty! I love Chen Shu Fen's art style, and this pose is nicely chosen :)
nice concept btw, and I like the balance between the colored parts and b/w parts. though I'm not too sure about the vertical lines. I mean, they're fine the way they are, but I think it might enhance the concept more if the lines were to radiate from her..
anyway, nice work!
